QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
I hold a Postgraduate diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapeutic Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of Brighton (passed with Distinction), and am a fully-qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and abide by their code of ethics, a copy of which can be found by clicking here. I am also an Accredited Registrant with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (ncps.com).
I hold a Certificate in Working with Couples from the Connexus Institute, and am currently undertaking the Gottman Institute's Clinical Foundations Course in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I charge between £75 & £95 per 50-minute session for work with couples and some concessions are available.
My practice is rooted in Psychodynamic theory, but I also incorporate other aspects of psychotherapy into my work. I undertake regular courses of CPD to enhance my skillset.
CHARGES & PRIVACY
My usual charge for individual clients is between £65 & £85 per session, and we will talk about this in our first meeting.
Special circumstances will be taken into account where possible, and some reduced rates may be available if appropriate.
I am an accredited healthcare provider for WPA Health Insurance.
